Power Supply Services
Power in Calbayog City is being provided by the Samar 1 Electric Cooperative, Inc. (SAMELCO I) which has its main office at Brgy. Carayman, Calbayog City. Its power source is from Ton-ok Mini Hydro Plant operated by the National Power Corporation (NPC) and from Tongonan Power Grid in Leyte. It has three (3) substations namely: Palanas-Cara, Capoocan and San Agustine.
Educational Services
Education plays an important role in molding the youth towards the realization of their dreams and aspirations in life. As such, every local government unit like the city of Calbayog ought to give due consideration. External resource accessing has been initiated by the LGU for the construction of the City High School Building.
